If You Want More...NOW is the Time!

As I am looking in the mirror these days, I see lots of changes. Wrinkles where I used to have smooth skin, new bumps, things hangin’ down a little lower… hair getting wirey and gray (witch-like), my chin is getting another chin, plus a beard. 😂 It is so crazy that just a couple short years ago I looked “young.” Now, age seems to be winning the battle. Don’t worry, I am fighting it every step of the way 😛 until I am forced to surrender lol.

My point—TIME. It is FLYING by. Does anyone here have time to waste on stupid things? Do you have time to spend on things that give you zero “wins” at the end of the day, week, year, your life? Because I am looking in the mirror thinking—no. I sure don’t. My life is passing by quick, just like the Bible says…

“What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.” — James 4:14 ESV

I have always imagined my age would magically bring the person I have always pictured myself to be. So far, it’s just brought wrinkles hahaha…

I guess it’s up to ME to choose the changes, victories, and my calling! God has them for me… longing for me to go for it!

The story of the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5)… She is one of my heroes. She had suffered for so long, enduring her condition. Then she recognized a chance to be healed, she dared to believe and risked it all!!

“When the woman who experienced this miracle realized what had happened to her, she came before him, trembling with fear, and threw herself down at his feet, saying, ‘I was the one who touched you.’ And she told him her story of what had just happened. Then Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!’” — Mark 5:33-34 TPT

She was desperate for a miracle, a change, an answer.
If she had not stepped out in faith, risking her literal life… she would have died with this disease.

She would have been a spectator. She would’ve been on the sidelines—watching as all the others received miracles they needed, while she was suffering in silence, too fearful to step out in faith.

We can be on the sidelines in many ways: our calling, our spiritual gifting, our ministry, our healing, our restoration, our finances, the blessings God has waiting for us… and all it takes is a little faith to ACT.

It requires that fearful step, that first move, that reaching out… an ACTION.

Nothing will happen without action—except getting older. Watching from the sidelines until you are too old to do much. How many people do you know saying, “One day I will…” as you watch their health decline, opportunities pass, relationships die, passion and hope fade…

If you want to experience a miracle… DARE TO BELIEVE. Jump out in faith, act and move in faith.

DO something that requires ALL of it! PUT IT ON THE LINE, no matter how risky, painful, or scary it might seem!

I must step out in faith, develop the gifts, grow, learn, challenge myself, heal the wounds, overcome myself (aka die to myself) , pursue the lost, find ways to bless, reach for MORE. I must do it all in faith. Life is moving fast—there is no time.

Jesus was passing by this woman quickly; SHE HAD ONE CHANCE. She pushed through the crowds, she pushed through the obstacles and faced serious persecution. She overcame things others were too fearful, too ashamed, too proud, or too embarrassed to overcome—and SHE RECEIVED HER MIRACLE.
